Classic Picture Book Series
These classic series will feel like a throwback to childhood for many parents of young children.
Little Critter by Mercer Mayer
Mercer Mayer captures relatable childhood experiences in his Little Critter series. The books follow a fictional “critter” as he deals with life’s frustrations and triumphs. Many of the books help children deal with difficult emotions and learn responsibility.
Berenstain Bears by Stan and Jan Berenstain
Learn valuable life lessons with the Berenstain Bear family: Mama, Papa, Sister, and Brother. The original Berenstain Bear book was published in 1978, though most readers will remember the series as it was in the 80s and 90s. These books still hold up over 30 years after they were written. “Peter” books by Ezra Jack Keats
