Safe Ways For Preschoolers to Play Online Casino Games. There are several risks to children playing online casino games, from the risk of addiction to the possibility of problem gambling. In general, parents should monitor their children’s online activity and avoid providing them with access to these sites. But even if children are not prone to gambling, they should be aware of their surroundings and know what to look out for. Fortunately, there are some safe and fun alternatives. Most online 1$ deposit casino games are based on chance, and some look like video games or apps. This can lead some young players to believe that they can win big by using their skills. In general, children in upper primary school are ready to learn more about gambling and the likelihood of long-term losses. However, some parents may want to limit their children’s exposure to gambling sites altogether.
Meet Our Director, Heather Shippy
Hello families! My name is Heather Shippy, and I am the Center Director at Valley Learning Center in Chandler. I actually started working here when I was 20 years old back in 1996. I originally worked with one-year-olds as a part time teacher in the afternoons, and quickly realized how much I loved working with children. I then became a lead two year-old teacher, and after about a year I moved up to working in the front office. I loved my job and was proud to be a part of this company. After 10 years, I decided to be a stay-at-home mom and spend precious time with my young children.
After a couple of years, I realized that I am not one to stay home, and went to work in special education at my kids’ elementary school as a paraprofessional technician. I worked with communication delayed children in all grade levels, and my eyes were opened to new ways to educate children and make a difference in their lives. Well, now things have come full circle, and I am back at Valley Child Care after 12 years. I am so grateful to be back at a place that I loved and that has held such a special place in my heart after all these years!
On a personal note, I am married and the mom of four beautiful daughters that all attended Valley when they were little. They are Sydney (24), Chloe (19), Maisy (16) and Krosby (15), so please wish me luck! My daughter Chloe works here as well between semesters while attending U of A to be a teacher herself, so it’s definitely a family thing!
I am blessed and grateful to work with you all and your children everyday, and I look forward to making this a loving and nurturing environment that you too are excited to be a part of!
